version 1.01 28 February 2023
Two cameras: One apertures of f8 and f16, one shutter speed around 1/100 second. Another with apertures of f11, f16, f22 and f150(pin hole) and also one shutter speed around 1/100 second.
Same film, Kentmere400 in 120. My first use of this latest version of Kentmere 400.
Bothe cameras have interchangeable lens, in this case between normal and wide. For the Diana there is also the option of a normal glass lens.
Using 120 Kentmere 400 asa which I processed in Rodinal at 25:1
400asa is considered a good choice for these basic cameras, but in good sun 200asa or even 100 asa would do as well. As the plastic lens is pretty good probably sharper images as well.
Technically the Belair has a variable shutter. This means it should operate up to 1/150 second. Unfortunately the auto mechanism is faulty and the shutter defaults to the mechanical only speed of around 1/150.
The Diana has a single speed but 4 manual stops; f11, f16, f22 and f150 although the last is a pin hole, but can be used with a lens.
