Kodak Ektar H35 Half Frame First Reveiw
version   1.01        28 February 2023
The most basic of cameras. One aperture, between f8 and f11, one shutter speed around 1/100 second. It also has a flash, turned on by the ring around the lens.

My first run through was with a roll of Kentmere 400 asa which I processed in Rodinal at 25:1

400asa is considered a good choice for these basic cameras, but in good sun 200asa or even 100 asa would do as well. As the plastic lens is pretty good probably sharper images as well.

If there is a 'problem' withowning this camera it is not the basic simplicity; as that is a known when buying, it is the number of images. 72 from a full size 35mm roll, I in fact managed 77.
These four sample images were taken on the first roll of film and show a range of subjects with differences in light and distance.
